Wet Fun For Everyone
Our five Diamond Lakes sparkle with fishing and water sports. Namely,
they are Lake Ouachita (Hot Springs/Mount Ida), Hamilton (Hot Springs),
DeGray (Arkadelphia), Greeson (between Glenwood and Murfreesboro) and
Catherine (Malvern).
Festivals
Diamond Lakes celebrations cover wintering eagles to holiday lights,
the arts, mineral treasures and more. Super events include Murfreeboro's
Diamond Festival, Mount Ida's World Championship Quartz Crystal Dig,
Hot Springs' Oktoberfest and Jazz Festival, Glenwood's Sawmill Days,
Malvern's Brickfest and Arkadelphia's Festival of Two Rivers. See the
complete list on pages 30-31.
They're Off!
"Somebody's Gonna Win!" at Oaklawn in Hot Springs. Oaklawn's card
includes the fastest thoroughbreds, the midwest's biggest purses, live
racing February through April and a satellite season featuring racing
from top tracks around the nation from May to November.
Outdoor Adventures
Float and fish the Caddo and Ouachita Rivers. Try a wooded campsite
or a state park for nights under the stars. Take a scenic drive to the
top of a mountain. The Ouachita Mountains are filled with magic moments.
Spectacular Settings for Meetings

Hot Springs to secluded settings with lots of activities throughout
Diamond Lakes Country.
